Resistance Dance Cycle

 

 

 

Given that cultural policies do not support the artistic fabric of the city and that, often, it is the artists who generate initiatives to keep it alive with their commitment, effort and dedication, we take advantage of the situation of the Sala Ars in Barcelona and its neuralgic location in the actions of peaceful resistance in October 2019 to generate the barricada Resistance Dance Cycle.

 

The dance is on the side of the -misnamed- minority causes because -because of its background, trajectory and nature- it understands them. barricada wants to program short pieces of dance creators who see their practice as an instrument of social transformation and who need visibility..
