1. Phonetic transcription of

the Catalan word “corbs”

[corvus corax]

Black bird, omnivorous and scavenger very present in mythology, culture and the arts.

2. Phonetic transcription of the English word "corpse"

Dead body, corpse.

Multidisciplinary scenic proposal whose expressive axis is contemporary dance and dialogues with electronic music, voice, light and theatricality. The show takes as a reference the crow, the omnivorous and scavenger bird most present in mythology and the arts. Associated with death, it is attributed a mediating role between the earthly world and the spiritual world. [Kórps] also plays with the homophony of the English word corpse, which means corpse, inert body. A piece that draws on popular tradition and human practices around violence, wakefulness and death.
