With the aim of carrying out an x-ray of the cultural system in Andalusia, the Miquel Barcelona Company in collaboration with the Cánovas Theater of Málaga of the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions, opens a survey to find out testimonies of bad practices in the performing arts sector.

After the exhibition "Anatomy of an unknown profession" at the CCBorn in Barcelona in July 2023, we propose to reproduce the artistic installation at the Cánovas Theater with testimonies from the Andalusian territory. We are looking for performers of physical practices (dance, theater or circus) who would like to share their experience on topics such as abuse of power (hierarchical, professional, administrative, verbal, sexual...), discrimination (cultural, racial, sectoral...), poor management (of resources, emotional, leadership...) ... and all those issues that may arise from addressing the issue of "bad practices" in the performing arts sector.

The aim of the project is to generate reflection at all times rather than any particular accusation. The selection process will be through a form to try to generate a group of people that covers different areas. Subsequently, a meeting will be held in November with the group of selected people and they will be interviewed.

In the resulting artistic material, the story that will result will be as universal as possible, without specific names of people and trying to generate a complex story with different points of view and trying to generate open questions rather than situational conclusions.
